LG had initiated its range of mobile telephones design entitled “Black Label” with the Chocolate one, and packs it with Shine which owes its name with its brilliant brushed metal hull and with a large screen 2,2 inches acting as mirror when it is extinct.

LG proposes a telephone particularly elegant, convivial to use and in addition functional. But it has the defects of its qualities: illegible screen mirror with the sun and dirtying, serrated roller of navigation original but difficult to tame, expensive, etc a beautiful tool, but absolutely not any ground!

Superb design, robust design, excellent catch in hand, roomy and luminous screen, correct services multi-media, taken jack 2,5 mm on the remote control, application to view the enclosures.

The use of the travelling serrated roller asks for a time of adaptation, illegible screen in shone upon weather, prone to the traces and stripes.

The Shine is an equipment that “sells” style by all sides, from its real metal housing to the newness of scroll-wheel to handle to all the menu and measures really reduced of 99,8 xs 50,6 xs 13,8 mm, and to include 2,2 display TFT of ¨ and many interesting functions multimedia.

Points to favor, from already the design that seems to me very pretty. .aunque to the metallic being you can love it or hate it without average inks; scroll-wheel that is a very interesting innovation and the camera of 2mpx with optics certified by Schneider Kreuznach is the best thing than it has.

The skinny points, the quality of sound in noisy atmospheres lets wish, not by lack of power but by lack of fidelity and saturation of low; display with effect mirror causes that it is very difficult to read a SMS when directly gives the sun you on the equipment and, finally, the keyboard that nor approaches the quality of the rest of the equipment and is impossible of tipear without having to watch it fixed.

Design this is the strongpoint of the equipment and it has not been really disappointing, for long time that it did not happen to me that they ask to me what I telephone is that? and that that I prove at least 4 telephones per month.

The first which it sees in the equipment is its display-mirror, this is that when is in delay it sees like a mirror, but as soon as the equipment starts it sees display of really impressive quality…

The second that is seen in this point is the body of metal, real stainless steel, and not that plastic metalized color or chromium plating to which we are so customary; in fact this material gives to the equipment a solidity him that a long time ago did not feel in the sos hand and a quite recommendable hardness if of which the things fall to him.

And, finally, scroll-wheel that comes to replace joystick or keys of navigation. This is a really dangerous bet because it is a great real par in the usabilidad of the equipment and, in fact, it cost almost 2 or 3 days to me to accustom to me to “not following of length” in the selection or entering another item of the menus.

But, when you are accustomed is really interesting and logras a good speed of access… in addition to being able to enjoy some games created for that interface.

Keyboard to take advantage of a single photo, watches the detail of the totally flat keyboard…, without at least tip of number 5 to be able “ubicarte” at the time of tipear; that basic element of usabilidad causes that he is one of the worse keyboards than I proved in long time. It was really impossible to me to tipear a SMS without having to watch fixed the equipment.

Battery; the battery was impressive for an equipment of these characteristics… in fact although in the manual it says that it lasts 3horas of talk Time and 200 of standby, the reality is that in one week as soon as I had to all along load it and that that I was listening to music, using it like telephones primary and playing with scroll-wheel.

Functions; the truth that the equipment without being smartphone has almost all the functions that one can request to him; in fact at level multimedia and, in that size or format, single it is possible to be compared with Samsung D900 of the Extreme Line Edition… beyond that model nowadays does not have competition.

The camera of photos is of 2 MPX able to remove to photos from 1600×1200 pixels, with autofocus, capture of video (QCIF), and flash that the capacity has to stay thus caught not tenes that to hope that it shoots and podes to see as it is going to leave the photo.

Something interesting is that the optics is certified by Schneider Kreuznach although is not made by them, nevertheless is impressive the quality of photos; and all the controls tenes by hand in single a lateral one of the equipment to be able to handle it as if it was a digital camera and not a very interesting telephone….
